6. Job shadow

I had the amazing chance to job shadow at Starbucks headquarters with Anna Rataoviak and Anna Brayton.  They were both great and had the day jam packed from the moment we got there to the moment we left.  When we got there we had a coffee tasting and they told us how to properly taste coffee, sadly I couldn’t take part in cause I am allergic to caffeine.  Then they gave us a tour of the interior design floor.  I would have love to take pictures of the space since it is so cool but unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures because several projects were going on.  One thing that I thought was so cool was the fact they use Pinterest to get ideas for starting a new project.  They actually inspired me to get a Pinterest and I love it so much!  We met with a lot of people during the day and had an amazing time.  I have never been so exhausted but in a good way!  I leaned so much of what happens in the design process and I had no idea that the thing that we are learning that seem silly now, it was cool to see them being used in an actual firm.  I had a great time at Starbucks headquarters.
