7. Sketch crawl

            My strengths in sketching is hatching and cross hatching.  I love to do them I think it adds so much more to a sketch and helps add depth to a sketch.  I also think I am pretty good at drawing straight lines.  My weakness are drawing form real life if it a tall building and I have to look up at it.  I spent a lot of time trying to draw the Space Needle, I think I spent most of the time trying to draw it and trying to figure it out.  I know I am not good at drawing things realistically it usually looks like a cartoon or a flat drawing.  I didn’t really learn anything from others at the sketch crawl, except that I have no patience for drawing hard things like the Space Needle.  I think I will try to have more patience when I am drawing something more difficult and to stick with it because I might turn into a great picture.
